She has 15 years extensive experience in Telecommunications, Mobile Financial Services, Fintech and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Industry. She worked as Head of Mobile Financial Services for MTN Mobile Money in Zambia and Tigo
(Millicom) in Rwanda and as CEO for M-Birr ICT Services, a Fintech company engaged in providing mobile money financial technology to some of the biggest financial institutions in Ethiopia. Faith has also acted on the fore-front of rural women’s financial inclusion through steering Projects such as Tigo Women Entrepreneurship Fund (TWEF) in collaboration with Rwanda National Women Council and GSMA Connected Women Initiative. Other projects include, Tigo’s Digital payment Solution for over 10,000 Tea farmers in Gucumbi and Rusizi Districts of Rwanda, a solution that has saved thousands of women in rural areas from walking long distance to receive payments and helped them save hundreds of invaluable working hours. Faith successfully managed and launched MTN Mobile Money business and built strong distribution channels which have made MTN Mobile Money the leading service brand in Zambia. As M-birr CEO, She successfully managed the biggest social cash transfer digital platform to deliver e-money worth over $15m per month to 830,000 households in Ethiopia under the Productive Safety Net Programme (PSNP) targeting the disabled and farmers. In Rwanda she also launched innovative digital products such as Group Savings, Loans and Micro Insurance for the underserved communities.Faith is in love with the very noticeable impact that financial technology has in advancing people economically and believes that mobile technology is an excellent enabler in solving some of the most pressing economic issues of our planet.
